How it works

    Write the description

    Open Text to 3D model on the NirvanaAI tab. Describe the motif with the panel size and maximum depth (mm), or pick one of the built-in examples and edit it.

    The model is prepared

    Your description is interpreted and the 3D model is prepared. In our tests a model was ready in 10–20 seconds.

    It is added to your drawing

    The finished model is downloaded and added to your open Alphacam drawing automatically.

    Scale it to size

    The size form shows the model's current X/Y/Z; enter the target sizes. With Keep proportions on, motifs stay intact; with it off you set the thickness separately.

What it generates

NirvanaAI generates reliefs: carved panels, door inserts, borders and sign motifs to be machined on a CNC router. The clearer the description (panel size, motif, depth), the more accurate the model.

Relief (embossed) model

Carved panels and door inserts with tulip, floral, geometric, animal, border or lettering motifs. Just give width, height and maximum depth in mm; the model comes as a single piece with its base. Over 80 built-in example descriptions can be picked and edited in the add-in.

Your membership is protected

  • Your membership is kept in your account and bound to one computer; you sign in to the add-in with your panel e-mail and password.
  • A corrupted or modified model is never added to your drawing.
  • Every request between the add-in and the server is signed and single-use; your membership data is stored encrypted on your computer.
  • An internet connection is required for use and membership verification.

Good to know

  • AI can misread a description or skip a detail; check the model in Alphacam before machining.
  • Toolpaths (roughing/finishing) are not the add-in's job; you create them in Alphacam with your own strategy.
  • Dimensioned furniture parts (shelves, boxes, turned parts) and full 3D free-form figures such as sculptures are not a target of this version; NirvanaAI generates reliefs.

Questions when writing a description

How do I write a good description?

Three things are enough: panel size (width x height, mm), maximum depth (mm) and the motif. For a border add "repeating pattern"; for a sign add the wording and the letter relief height. Example: "300x300 mm geometric star motif door insert, 5 mm depth".

How do I use the built-in examples?

The tool's example list has over 80 descriptions under floral, geometric/mandala, animal/figure, border/frame, sign/lettering and scene headings. Pick one, change the size and depth for your job and generate.

What if the model is not what I expected?

Refine the description: state the motif in one sentence, always give size and depth, then generate again. Each successful generation uses one credit; a failed one uses none.

Should I give the size in the description or set it afterwards?

Both. The size in the description sets the motif's proportions; the imported model is then scaled to your target X/Y/Z in the size form. Turn `Keep proportions` off to change the thickness independently of the motif.
